Continuing the pattern of growth related editorials in our newsletters, in this volume, let the "growth" figures speak for themselves. eBusinessware used the methodology it has been developing and improving since 1999 to do onshore/offshore projects. This project required sophisticated analysis to prepare for the migration. This included performing inventory analysis, determining the degree of impact for each application, and performing a gap assessment for each applications. eBusinessware then proposed a strategic migration path for the affected application. The client had hoped that the VB 6.0 code could be automatically converted to VB.NET. Our experience, however, confirmed that most applications required some manual coding effort.
