EIASE Research Wing is the backbone of our advanced Process Leadership, Product and Solutions Offerings, and above all, Excellency in Execution of projects.

  1. Our Process Methodology, UniRAD, was the result of EIASE Research brainstorming only.

  2. Our Flagship Reference Data Solutions Toolkit, CreditDimensions, was the result one such brainstorming session.

  3. EIASE research wing was instrumental in customizing and adapting one of the strongest open source integrated end-to-end Project Management, Process Management, Team Management, Product Management, and Issue Tracking Software Product. It was later called UniVision, named after ebusinessware’s UniRAD Process methodology.

  4. ebusinessware’s proprietary Sales CRM based on Open Source software product was also the result of EIASE Research Institute.

  5. ebusinessware identified and adapted an open source accounting system to meet its diverse multi-currency, multi-entity accounting needs using EIASE Research Wing as its conduit.

  6. EIASE also identified another superior open source product in the area of Content Management and used it to create inter own web site(s). This tool seems to be as powerful as the best content management products available in the market with expensive price tags.

Delivering Quality Solutions…Developing People Along the Way
ebusinessware considers its human capital as the most important asset. The group further recognizes that only an appropriately trained manpower base, can deliver outstanding results to its clients. As direct fallout of this ideology, ebusinessware is committed to a program of continuous workforce and organizational development. By integrating the development of its people with process improvement, ebusinessware constantly strives towards a culture of excellence and improvement.

This belief led the group to set up the ebusinessware Institute of Applied Software Engineering (EIASE), at its Center of Excellence, nearly four years ago. The thrust of the initiative was on bridging the gap between knowledge imbibed from formal courses and the application requirements of live projects.

While constantly tracking the training needs of each member of its growing teams in the initial years, ebusinessware felt that the software engineering courses primarily concentrated on theoretical aspects. While this trend greatly facilitates research and development, the requirements for the majority of software firms in the services industry are application-oriented. ebusinessware’s solution in reorienting theoretical skills to become application-friendly, lay in its initiative to set up the EIASE.

EIASE imparts software engineering and other skills from an application and practical perspective, and the trainee can realize the immediate benefit by working on real projects.

  1. Project-based training: Before every project, a thorough analysis is done between the skills requirement of the project and the current skill level of the team members. Based on the analysis, employees receive training in required areas, both before the project begins and during the project life cycle. If training resources cannot be located internally, ebusinessware is committed to hiring the best available resources for the purpose.
  2. Employee empowerment: ebusinessware offers a variety of courses in its curriculum geared towards empowering employees with non-technical skills such as client communications, leadership, teamwork etc. Employees are encouraged to sign up for these courses as well as other technical courses in which he/she is interested in, as long as the employee has written consent from his/her immediate manager.
  3. Continuous improvement: ebusinessware would in the future like to expand its training program as a forum and a consortium for leading practitioners in the industry to share best practices in applied software engineering and train other people to eventually raise the overall standard of the industry. Towards this end, ebusinessware has established a core group – EIASE Founding Group, whose responsibility is to constantly measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Further, there is a strong process of feedback built into the training program where anonymous feedback is collected and acted upon after each course and for the whole training program in general.
